Circle of Hands (COH) is a group of individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences who are committed to harnessing our intellectual and physical resources for transformative change. This change will begin first in and through us as individual Nigerians, then transition through us as a collective, and ultimately branch out to Nigeria as a whole.
Name. COH communicates the unified balance in human cooperation.
Core Values. COH will exploit the communal and familial ethos to promote among its members selflessness, personal accountability, integrity, and excellence.
Vision. COH places a high premium on individual participatory roles, and at the same time commits to increasing civic consciousness, entrepreneurial skills, appreciation of policy, and personal confidence at the communal level.
Focus. COH pays special attention to the youth population of Nigeria, empowering them to take personal ownership of every aspect of their lives, through attaining sound education and awareness, self-reliance and active engagement in their civic duties.
Methodology. COH will adopt the mentorship model to mobilize, and concentrate on building healthy relationships with young people that will help them develop into transformational leaders within established structures. Regular gatherings will be democratic and relational in style, and will be aimed at training, empowerment, and mutual aid.
An Invitation. At the very heart of COH’s reason for existence is a call for change-makers and transformative leaders at all levels of society. Why not join hands with us today?
